Using a kitchen supplied by MJC Design will enhance any developments you are working on, without costing you more than the supplier you currently use. The kitchen area in any house represents a major portion of your budget and you need it to look as good as it possibly can. A fantastic kitchen will often help to sell or rent your property for a premium over your competitors.

Most UK developers will use kitchens supplied by Howdens, Magnet or Moores. These are supposedly cheap to buy, but can be more expensive and time consuming than they should be to install. More often than not the kitchens will be delivered to site and there can be parts missing and often damaged or poor quality components that seem to have missed any form of quality control - we know as we’ve fitted more than our fair share! You need experienced carpenters to fit them.

We would like to explain some of the benefits of using our kitchens.

Worktops. Delivered to site cut to length. Masons mitre pre-cut and biscuit jointed at the factory. All visible edges laminated or post formed as an option.

Wall and floor carcasses. Supplied as a rigid construction with doors and drawers already fitted and handle holes pre-drilled. All drawers and pull outs fitted with soft close as standard.

Cornice and pelmet. Cut to size and joined ready for fitting.

Wall units. Countersunk to receive lighting.

Fixings. All fixings are supplied to install the kitchen.

How much money has that already saved you? Not only in terms of time but also that the fitters have not made any expensive mistakes cutting difficult mitres and drilling holes in the wrong place.

Other benefits when using our kitchens.

Carcasses are made from higher density chipboard than you will find in many of your current supplier’s kitchens. This gives a much more rigid overall construction. The laminate tape around the carcass edges is PVC and 3.00mm thick. Again thicker than most suppliers, giving harder wear resistance and much reduced incidence of damage during installation. Another point of quality is that all the holes where the door hinges are located are fitted with a nylon insert, rather than just being screwed straight into the chipboard or door material.

Drawers all have a metal drawer box and an 18mm solid base. Our drawers are so well built that a one metre pan drawer will take eleven stone in weight!

We only use Neff appliances. They have a fantastic reputation for quality and with a huge range of products. We are confident we can match your budget requirements from entry level to top of the range.

Design service. We use the most up to date software which allows us to design the perfect kitchen for your needs. We will undertake a site survey and then produce full drawings for your use. We even provide a copy for the electrician and plumber with full dimensions to ensure they can get the power and water to exactly the right place first time – no expensive second visits will be necessary.

If you require granite worktops, we will arrange for our supplier to visit you once the rest of the kitchen is installed. They will template for hobs, sinks and taps and then fit the granite usually within two weeks.

If you are working on a multi unit development or have limited storage space we can arrange to have staggered delivery to your site.

Our credibility.

We have fitted hundreds of normal kitchens over the years and had grown more and more frustrated with the lack of attention to detail with the product. Two years ago we set up a showroom and started selling our top quality kitchen systems to domestic customers. Since then we have become convinced that the benefits of our product with regard to ease of fitting and quality make them the ideal choice for developers who already have labour available on site.

Unlike traditional suppliers we send our computer design drawings to Germany where the whole of your kitchen is assembled ready for shipping. Worktops, end panels, pelmets and cornice are cut and finished along with the rest of the components. The whole kitchen is checked electronically and manually to ensure it is complete and then sent to us or direct to yourselves. From placing your order to delivery takes normally three to four weeks. Missing parts and incomplete deliveries are a thing of the past.

When you are using our kitchens we will be on hand to offer advice with installing them if your fitters require any help.
