HISTORY OF THE MOOT HALL INDIAN RESTAURANT IN DAVENTRY

Brothers Mohim and Dulal Uddin have transformed the historical Moot Hall in Daventry Market Square into one of the finest restaurants in the region. After a painstaking restoration and refurbishment project the new restaurant opened to much acclaim in the summer of 2006.

Having previously been the local museum and tourist information center, the listed building has been lovingly restored. No expense has been spared to maintain the dignity of the building and its transformation has been sympathetic whilst bold producing an atmosphere any historian or architect would approve of.

The Moot Hall offers a pre-dinner bar (open for non-diners), a function area and upstairs there are large elegant or more intimate dining rooms. The new Moot Hall restaurant is ideal for romantic dinners and can also cope with larger functions serving up to 100 guests.
